Reiss Nelson became the third-youngest teenager to score five goals in the Bundesliga on Saturday, getting the opener for Hoffenheim in a 4-1 win over Bayer Leverkusen. Since his loan move from Arsenal in the summer, the 18-year-old has bagged five in just six games and only one foreign teenager has netted more than 5 in an entire season – the former Borussia Dortmund attacker Ousmane Dembele.
Thomas Müller’s wife Lisa found herself in hot water after posting an Instagram story berating Bayern boss Niko Kovac’s decision to only bring on her husband 70 minutes into the game against Freiburg – Bayern went on to draw the game 1-1, conceding an 89th-minute equaliser. The story spread on social media and Bayern even posted an article on their website, explaining that Mrs Müller had apologised.

After only four months in the job, club President, Uli Hoeneß, seems ready to swing the axe on the Croatian, and reportedly has former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, waiting in the wings as his replacement. On the back of six successive league titles, this weekend’s game will be the first time Bayern go into this fixture behind Dortmund in the table since the 2011-12 season – the last time Die Schwarzgelben lifted the trophy.
